Thai Spiced BBQ Ribs

Smithfield Back Ribs coated in an Asian chili BBQ sauce

Serves 8 (1 serving equals 1/2 rack of ribs)

Ingredients

4 full racks 

Smithfield St. Louis Style Spareribs or Smithfield Back Ribs

3 Tbsp.

Kosher salt

1/2 cup, 1 tsp.

Thai Kitchen Thai Seasoning blend

1 cup

Barbecue Sauce

2 Tbsp.

Soy sauce

2 Tbsp.

Water

1 Tbsp.

Orange juice concentrate 

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 300°F.
  2. To prepare ribs, remove from packaging and lay out on sheet pan. Season with kosher salt, and 1/2 cup of Thai Kitchen® Thai Seasoning blend. Grill each side over medium heat for 10 minutes then transfer back to the sheet pan and wrap tightly with aluminum foil. Place in the oven and bake for 75 minutes.
  3. While ribs cook, combine barbecue sauce, soy sauce, remaining 1 teaspoon of Thai seasoning, water and orange juice concentrate and mix well until smooth.
  4. Remove ribs from the oven, baste with Thai barbecue sauce, cut and serve.
